“For over 10 years, ISE has been the ideal platform to showcase the latest technologies and product developments in the A/V field. Audiovisual technology continues to gain importance and still holds significant potential. We are continuously working on developing new standards in KVM and A/V technology,” says Marc Salimans, Sales Director of ATEN Belgium. “Having accumulated years of experience and expertise in the field of video technology, we also want to introduce ATEN as a brand in the audiovisual sector to those who currently only know us as KVM specialists. Our extensive experience in various areas allows us to bring a range of innovative connectivity products to the show this year. Our latest product, the CM1164 4-Port Screen Split KVM Control Center, will be showcased at this year’s ISE.”
Intelligent Monitoring: CM1164 Screen Split KVM Control Center
The CM1164 is a screen split KVM control center (USB/DVI-D) with a USB 2.0 hub and audio. The new KVM control center offers three flexible display modes – Quad View, Picture-in-Picture, and Full Screen. With Picture-in-Picture (PIP), users can view two, three, or four panels on a single monitor with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 GHz. The CM1164 allows users to select and control computers via the hardware cursor function and resize and reposition each video source. Furthermore, the drag-and-drop capability for PIP mode provides intuitive interaction that users can easily control. It is ideal for controlling rooms, monitoring systems, traffic control, military control systems, weather stations, and other work environments.
Computer and peripheral control diversity: CS1942 Mini-DisplayPort.
With the CS1942, ATEN will be showcasing a Dual View KVMP switch at this year's ISE. The device can be used to control up to four computers with two monitors, connected via a keyboard and mouse. The CS1942 and CS1944 Mini DisplayPort switches are a new generation of compact KVMP (Keyboard, Video, Mouse, Peripheral) switches that offer diverse functionality and top-of-the-line technology despite their small overall size. With their sleek and understated design, these devices are an attractive addition to any computing environment, whether for home or office use.

Source devices can be accessed and controlled locally and remotely in various ways. Locally, via the LCD screen and pushbuttons on the center panel, the IR remote control, and the serial controller; and remotely via the internet with a browser-based graphical user interface.
