Among other solutions showcased were: the HC series power connectors, which facilitate modular power connections by incorporating contact coding and IP67 protection;
the Han® 24 HPR EasyCon high-current connector, which provides robust and reliable power solutions anywhere on the train; and the Han® HC Individual connector, which enables very fast connection, locking, and unlocking in a stackable rail system.
At the HARTING stand, the advantages of reduced cabling in Relay Racks and distribution boxes developed by HARTING were also shown.
Regarding products for Industrial Ethernet, HARTING presented the new HA-VIS mCon 4100-BB switch model, a car switch with support for Consists Gigabit Ring (ECN). It features M12 connectors for Fast and Gigabit Ethernet, new D-Sub connectors for onboard data connections, and HARTING cables for rolling stock (EthernetRail® and Data Bus).
In short, with its presence at this event and its new developments, HARTING demonstrates once again its commitment to the railway sector and its willingness to offer solutions to its specific needs.
