This is the revolution of Keenetic, a company specializing in networking solutions, founded in 2017 as a spin-off of Zyxel, with a global revenue of €40 million. It's a new concept that gives the router a modern role: a true neural center for the digitalization of spaces, both in homes and offices, capable of creating smart, interconnected environments. The multinational has its European headquarters in Germany, on the outskirts of Frankfurt, where software development, marketing and sales support for branches and the European partner network, logistics, and R&D all converge.

Starting this month, therefore, their entire range of Wifi Mesh solutions, from signal repeaters to routers for all types of connections (FTTH, FTTC, DSL and 4G/LTE) will be available to distributors, installers and ISPs, through the sales channels of one of the main players in the distribution of technological solutions.

“Our strategy is clear: we want to grow gradually and steadily. Our goal is to capture 25% of the router market within three years, focusing on leveraging the advantages of truly innovative devices,” declares Luigi Salmoiraghi, Head of European Development. “It all started with the intuition to create our own operating system, Keenetic OS, which is at the heart of all Keenetic products, from entry-level to premium. Thanks to it, we have complete control over performance and security. This is undoubtedly a major competitive advantage because we can develop new, customized solutions based on customer needs with complete autonomy.”

“Our primary target market is SMEs, and especially small internet service providers,” Salmoiraghi continued. “These companies find in Keenetic the ideal partner, capable of guaranteeing, thanks to the cutting-edge technology used, a significant reduction in management costs, primarily those related to customer service during the installation phase and for daily support. Keenetic devices can be self-configured in just a few minutes using the mobile app, allowing the initial setup to be delegated directly to the end customer. Furthermore, the service's high stability and a highly developed diagnostic system minimize customer service interventions and drastically reduce response times. Once we consolidate our position, we will focus on retail as another sales channel to continue growing.”

Technical training at the heart of the project.
To ensure the best possible on-site support, the multinational company headquartered outside Frankfurt will launch a program of specialized training sessions on the key features of its KeeneticOS.
This training will equip distributors with the expertise to understand the technologies available in the Wi-Fi market and recommend the right solution for each customer's network.

How Keenetic Devices Work:
Keenetic products are designed to be reliable, user-friendly, and self-configuring, ensuring a unique, personalized experience, just like smartphones and computers. The company's direct control over hardware and operating system development guarantees the autonomy needed to support customers at every stage. Each router is also equipped with connection management tools and private cloud storage. The Keenetic mobile app for iOS and Android allows you to manage the entire network remotely, activating only the functions needed at any given time. This is a principle designed to support small and medium-sized businesses with multiple locations that need to be interconnected and optimize their processes. And again, with the cloud storage available on each device, which can be supplemented with an external hard drive, Keenetic aims to guarantee all users the ability to protect their personal or business data effectively.

Operating System Updates:
All Keenetic devices offer at least five years of continuous operating system updates to prevent technological obsolescence, extend the router's lifespan, and reduce its environmental impact. These updates not only fix bugs and implement security measures but also introduce new features and expand support for the latest peripherals. To ensure the success of these processes, Keenetic invests significant resources in testing (7,500 hours per month). Each new update must pass approximately 8,000 tests, and the rollout process is not simultaneous but occurs in several stages. This allows for monitoring of each phase and rapid intervention to correct any errors before they affect all connected devices.
