Launched in May 2021, the Anterix Active Ecosystem Program is a diverse group of over 65 innovators providing technology, equipment, and services to support utility and critical infrastructure companies deploying and operating private LTE networks in the 900 MHz band. Market research firm ReportLinkerforecasts that the North American private LTE market will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.7% from 2021, reaching $2 billion USD by 2028. This growth is driven by the increasing need for secure, predictable, enterprise-grade communications with high availability, reliability, and low latency.
“We are pleased to contribute to the development of robust wireless broadband communications for the energy, transportation, and logistics industries, among others, while accelerating their digital transformation processes,” said Jagadeesh Dantuluri, General Manager for Private and Dedicated Networks at Keysight Technologies. “Leveraging solutions widely used by 4G and 5G technology providers, Keysight will enable Anterix and its critical infrastructure customers to cost-effectively verify designs throughout the entire product lifecycle.”
Keysight offers a comprehensive suite of design, testing, validation, and optimization solutionsthat enable manufacturers, systems integrators, mobile operators, and hyperscalers to develop and deploy broadband connectivity. These solutions, currently used to verify technology deployed in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Industry 4.0, and 5G private networks, facilitate the integration of products that meet the specific technical and operational requirements of utilities and other critical infrastructure entities.
As the largest holder of licensed spectrum in the 900MHz band (896–901/935–940 MHz) in the United States, Anterix plays a key role in helping critical infrastructure companies, such as those in utilities and transportation, modernize their infrastructure, resulting in automated processes and improved productivity. Keysight has collaborated with other members of the partner program, including Ericsson, Nokia, and Motorola, to advance private LTE solutions that support these critical infrastructure sectors.
“A vibrant technology ecosystem includes more than a modern communications network and cutting-edge end-user equipment and applications. It also requires solutions like Keysight’s that make it easier for customers and innovators to design, optimize, and integrate products with that network and those applications,” said Carlos L’Abbate, chief technology officer at Anterix. “We are pleased to welcome Keysight to the Anterix Active Ecosystem Program and look forward to their unique contributions.”
