Souriau, a world leader in aerospace connectors, has been named Supplier of the Year 2009 by the Airbus Center of Electrical Excellence. This award confirms Souriau's global leadership in connectors for commercial aviation. The criteria that have allowed Souriau to stand out from its competitors are the quality of its products, its logistical excellence, and its responsiveness in developing new products.
Souriau is one of Airbus's main suppliers of electrical and optical connectivity equipment for onboard aircraft. After many years of collaboration with Airbus, Souriau continues to invest in its industrial facilities and in the development of new technologies such as high-power transmission, composite materials, and high-speed signal transmission via copper or optical lines.
“We are especially proud to have won this award for the third year in a row. It is the result of the company-wide commitment to a total quality strategy and the continuous improvement process at all our sites, particularly our production plants in France and Morocco, over several years.
