The KPC LP 751 camera features a 1/3” Sony Exview CCD video sensor (with higher sensitivity) and a resolution of 700 lines (960H), operating in black and white only. This allows us to capture license plate images with greater clarity and precision.
It features 10 high-power LEDs with variable intensity, allowing for optimal visibility by illuminating at the appropriate angle (less than 40º). This ensures that any license plate recognition software installed will not miss a license plate at any time of day. Its reinforced double-window structure prevents any reflections from the illuminators from affecting the video sensor.
The camera has an externally adjustable lens from 5 to 50 mm, allowing us to adapt the viewing angle to what we really need, focusing on the license plate, which is what we are really interested in.
It has OSD (On-Screen Menu) that allows us to adjust the camera as we wish with functions such as video motion, anti-masking, mirror effect, negative image, and image freezing.
It has an alarm input that can be used for any type of external sensor, allowing image freezing only when needed and a more rational use of the digital recorder.
The camera can read license plates at a distance of 20-35 meters and vehicles that have a speed of up to 120 km/h.
Its housing is robust, with vandal-proof support and IP 67 protection, including an internal heater which allows the camera to operate in low temperatures down to -25°C.
