Konftel has developed the Konftel BT30, which offers compatibility with its Konftel 800 and the new Konftel 70 audio devices. The USB backpack has been designed to optimize wideband Bluetooth wireless audio connectivity within Konftel's conferencing applications. Torbjörn Karlsson, product manager, points out that this innovation allows for an impressive total range of up to 30 m (depending on the paired device) with superior performance wireless communication.
Also noteworthy is the greater freedom of choice and the simplification of the configuration that the BT30 entails, particularly through the popular Konftel OCC Hub for video kits in combination with conventional room computers and laptops.
It explains: “Bluetooth quality and stability, especially on laptops, fluctuate, so the Konftel BT30 provides more robust and higher-quality audio connectivity. Furthermore, it fits perfectly with our strategy of simplifying and making video conferencing as easy as possible through our OCC Hub, as it allows you to replace the standard USB audio cable with a wireless alternative.”.
This allows for an expansion of possible locations within the room, enabling wireless voice transmissions."
The BT30 is compatible with Konftel's C2070 and C5070 video kits for small conference rooms and small/medium-sized spaces. The new backpack is also ideal for Konftel's high-end C20800 Hybrid and C50800 Hybrid video collaboration solutions.
This represents a further step following the development of a specific interactive guide on room types to assist users in finding an optimal configuration and understanding the different dynamics of videoconferencing scenarios, including connectivity.
