Atos has developed three new servers that offer flexibility, built-in security, and a low carbon footprint with a titanium power supply. The hardware allows for running any workload and any application with minimal latency and maximum efficiency. All three servers incorporate Atos Root of Trust and Atos Chain of Trust security to ensure the highest level of data security at all times.
BullSequana SH,
the Group's latest server, is a digital transformation accelerator that enables customers to run demanding workloads requiring high computing power, business-critical applications, and in-memory applications such as databases and analytics (fully SAP HANA and TDI certified appliances). It is also designed for virtualized and hyperconverged infrastructures, hybrid computing, and AI applications such as deep learning and machine learning.
Based on the 4th generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor, the latest addition to the BullSequana S range can scale in increments of 2 sockets up to 32 sockets, acting as a single server, offering customers scalability without over-provisioning and making more efficient use of software without increasing power or footprint.
Customers will also benefit from faster response times to business demands thanks to DDR5 memory support for demanding applications and increased memory per system with Intel® Optane™ Persistent Memory 300 series.
BullSequana
EX servers will power next-generation computer vision use cases, such as AI inference for smart glasses, virtual and augmented reality, intelligent scene change management, and much more.
The BullSequana EX series features two designs to address the challenges of workloads from the edge to the data center, both optimized for next-generation AI inference. The BullSequana EXD is an edge appliance with a rack-mount option, while the BullSequana EXR is an edge data center appliance that can also be used for hyperconverged infrastructure.
With interchangeable CPUs (including 4th generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors) and NVIDIA GPUs ranging from the NVIDIA A2 Tensor Core GPU to the NVIDIA L40 GPU, both servers offer exceptional flexibility. Customers can build and deploy a wide variety of high-performance, latency-sensitive applications (computer vision, VR, etc.) and run hyperconverged workloads in the edge data center with BullSequana EXR.
This offering has been designed to be optimized for 5G and connectivity, as well as fully adapted for MEC, 5G core and VRAN workloads.
