These standalone RFID antennas communicate directly with the PLC or controller via a Profinet interface, without requiring any additional processor. They can be configured using pre-configured function blocks (FBs) or the internal web server.
Furthermore, the integrated two-port switch allows for easy expansion of the Profinet network, making its integration into any network topology feasible. These antennas are also compatible with the ISO 15693 standard and the Balluff system for high-memory, high-speed data carriers.
