Premo expands its SDTR1103 family with the new SDTR1103-HF series, an SMD antenna for 2MHz reception and/or 13.56MHz transmission/reception applications for NFC (Near field Communication) applications.
This antenna is equipped with a NiZn ferrite core with high surface resistivity (>10 MΩ/mm) for high-frequency operation, offers stable performance over a wide temperature range (-40 ºC to +85 ºC) and has an identical format to the 125kHz transponders of the SDTR1103 family.
It is offered in three inductance values: 290 µH/2 MHz, 400 µH/2 MHz and 20 µH/13.56 MHz.
Its surface mount design (SMD) allows for easy use in the automated process of assembling printed circuit boards, thus eliminating manual handling.
As its name suggests (Super Drop Test Resistance), it is especially suitable for applications requiring demanding drop tests, such as mobile devices and key fobs. The SDTR1103-HF2-0020K, specially tuned to 13.56 MHz, is suitable for RFID applications with ISO 15693 (proximity: I-CODE) and ISO 14443 (proximity: MIFARE) interfaces.
