The Antenna Company has announced customer sampling and availability of its AC97002 multiband cellular antenna, designed to facilitate installation with indoor smart meter gateways and other IoT applications.

Features
- Reliable radio coverage in the 698-960 MHz and 1700-2690 MHz frequency bands, with efficiencies up to 75% in sub-GHz bands.
- Flexible cabinet installation thanks to its compact size of 45 mm x 170 mm x 35 mm.
- Quick and easy installation with smart meter gateways using a variable-length detachable cable with a Fakra D connector.

In addition, the AC97002 supports the following features:
- Omnidirectional radiation pattern.
- Horizontal or vertical mounting on metallic or non-conductive surfaces.
- Complies with ROHS and REACH standards.

As countries like Germany mandate the deployment of gateways for smart meters, reliable connectivity is essential to provide secure data communication between on-site equipment and the wide area network.
