• Centralized wireless using Wireless Controllers (DWC-1000 and DWC-2000) that allow unified management, locally or remotely, of up to 1000 access points (APs). In addition to ensuring maximum efficiency for uninterrupted roaming of client devices, they offer advanced features such as: automatic power and channel management, load balancing, hotspot functionality, self-healing for automatic AP failure detection and power boosting of adjacent APs to compensate, network segmentation by workgroups, and bandwidth control per user. Likewise, the Captive Portal, payment gateway, and ticketing functionalities are ideal for WiFi networks in hotels or other sectors with public access to wireless networks.
The DWL-6610APE indoor access point features Band Steering, which detects if the WiFi client device supports dual-band and, if so, automatically connects it to the less congested and higher-performing 5 GHz band.
The DWL-6700AP outdoor access point incorporates a high-gain (8dBi) directional antenna in the 5 GHz band, which also allows for point-to-point links to wirelessly connect networks in different locations.
Easy deployment is ensured thanks to PoE compatibility for power over a LAN cable. Versatile wall and ceiling mounting options are available with the included kit.
