The WE-ProWare firmware and SDK package enable the rapid deployment of custom network solutions for IIoT/M2M applications using this low-profile module. Thanks to its 915 MHz frequency band and FCC module and IC certifications, Themisto-I is ideally suited for the American market.

Mouser Electronics, Inc. distributes the BL654PA (Power Amplified) module from Laird Connectivity. This FCC, IC, RCM, KC, and Bluetooth® SIG certified module allows engineers to implement Bluetooth 5 and single-mode Thread (802.15.4) technology in simple, low-power Bluetooth designs.

The Laird BL654PA module is based on the highly flexible Nordic nRF52840 multiprotocol system-on-a-chip (SoC), which features a powerful Arm® Cortex®-M4F core and a multiprotocol radio supporting Bluetooth 5, ANT+/ANT+, and proprietary 2.4 GHz networking. The BL654PA module offers extended wireless range with a transmission power of +18 dBm, configurable down to -26 dBm.

Golledge, distributed by RC Microelectronics, plans to begin production of the GTXO-163 series of oscillators during the first quarter of 2019. Measuring just 1.6 x 1.2 mm and 0.7 mm in height, it will be one of the smallest oscillators on the market. It will be available in frequencies from 20 to 50 MHz.

RC Microelectronics together with its represented company Golledge, a manufacturer of crystals and quartz oscillators, have presented the new GTXO-94 series, which with a really small PCB footprint of 3.3 x 2.6 x 1.27 mm and in four available power supply versions 3.3V, 3V, 2.5V and 1.8V, achieves excellent temperature stability of +/- 5 ppm and a consumption of around 1 micro Ampere [µA].

Anritsu presents its W1 coaxial components, consisting of power dividers, a directional coupler, and attenuators with W1 connectors featuring millimeter-wave interfaces. Unlike other solutions based on band-limited frequencies and requiring a waveguide interface, the W1 components are not band-limited and can operate across a frequency range from DC to 110 GHz.

IQD has released a series of quartz crystals that can operate in basic mode up to 200 MHz. The quartz crystals are housed in a hermetically sealed, 4-terminal ceramic casing measuring 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.6 mm (IQXC-152) and 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.5 mm (IQXC-153); two of the terminals are grounded to the metal cap to improve electromagnetic interference.

The Wireless Connectivity and Sensors division of Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG presents firmware version 3.4.0 for the AMB2621-TR Bluetooth module. The most significant innovation is the increased UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) baud rate. Thanks to the faster interface speed of the device module, the maximum data volume has more than doubled, from 36 kbps to 80 kbps.

Panasonic Industry Europe has launched a new Bluetooth radio frequency module with a host-controlled interface (HCI) that offers BLE data transfer rates 2.5 times higher than previous Bluetooth Low Energy solutions.
