The RFU620 offers adjustable transmitter power up to a distance of one meter, adapting it to each reading situation. The RFU620's antenna generates a homogeneous and symmetrical transmission field within which a specific tag can be read and precisely identified. Thanks to adaptive power control, the RFU620 can independently increase transmitter power until the tag is read, preventing the simultaneous detection of multiple tags. Additional filtering functions are designed for communication with tags that have specific data structures, or to prevent repeated detection of the same tag within a defined time interval. All of this ensures reliable data transmission during both read and write cycles.
The RFU620 is used in automotive manufacturing and intralogistics for container and pallet identification, among other applications. Its compact design makes it especially suitable for use on forklifts, as the RFU620 can be installed in a way that doesn't take up much space between the lifting forks. It features the following fieldbuses: RS232/422, EtherNet TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, CANopen, PROFIBUS DP, and PROFINET IO. Power over Ethernet (PoE) integration is also available. The RFU620 is fully compatible with IDpro.
