This update incorporates the R&S SMW-K575 RF linearization software option, which uses digital pre-distortion technology to optimize the EVM with high output power.
These improvements also extend to the R&S SMM100A, the mid-range equivalent of the R&S SMW200A. The R&S SMM100A also includes the new R&S SMM B709 low-phase-noise option. With this option, the R&S SMM100A can deliver, for example, EVM performance below -53 dB for an IEEE 802.11be signal with a bandwidth of 320 MHz.
Customers with previous models of the R&S SMW200A or R&S SMM100A can also benefit from the new performance improvements offered by the R&S SMx-K575 RF linearization: Rohde & Schwarz offers upgrade options through a simple service and calibration process.
