Customers can utilize the full bandwidth of an instrument across all channels simultaneously.
The R&S RTE sets new standards in this product class with respect to other parameters as well: with a sampling rate of 5 G samples/s per channel and a memory capacity of up to 200 M samples, it enables precise and detailed analysis of even the longest signal sequences. An acquisition rate of over one million waveforms per second allows for rapid detection of signal faults. The low-noise frontend, along with sensitivity up to 500 µV/div and 16-bit vertical resolution in high-definition mode, ensures extremely accurate measurement results. To fully utilize the high input sensitivity when characterizing low-amplitude signals, the bandwidth is fully available even at 500 µV/div, and the instrument displays the actual sampling points without zooming. The digital triggering system, operating in the signal path, enables real-time triggering of even the smallest signal details.
Some features, such as QuickMeas, which displays the results of eight measurements on screen with a single click, mask testing, spectrum analysis, a history function, and 77 automatic measurement functions, are included as standard on the R&S RTE. Results are available very quickly thanks to the implementation of the analysis tools in the Rohde & Schwarz ASIC.
The R&S RTE oscilloscopes offer solutions for the most complex tasks, including triggering and decoding options for serial protocols and a power analysis option. Each R&S RTE can be upgraded to a high-definition oscilloscope with 16-bit vertical resolution via a software license. For analyzing logic components in embedded designs, the mixed-signal option offers 16 digital channels with exceptional parameters, including a sampling rate of 5G samples/s and a memory capacity of 100M samples per digital channel.
R&S RTE oscilloscopes are extremely easy to use thanks to their 10.4" XGA touchscreen. The screen can be easily organized by simply selecting and dragging waveforms and results windows, for example. The toolbar allows users to access measurement results in just two steps, while the touch zoom and undo/redo functions enable intuitive and very fast operation.
