WiNG Express wireless technology for WLAN connection
Zebra Technologies Corporation has introduced a new wireless local area network (WLAN) technology that is easy to use and deploy without sacrificing best-in-class technology.
WiNG Express requires virtually no IT maintenance thanks to its intuitive and easy-to-use user interface, which simplifies end-to-end WLAN management. WiNG Express technology offers a competitive pricing model while creating a WLAN that is fully integrated with the network and has the intelligence to route all transmissions as securely and efficiently as possible, achieving unparalleled wireless performance.
Key Data
The WiNG Express AP portfolio consists of two 802.11ac dual-radio access points (AP 7502E and AP 7522E) and four 802.11n APs (AP 6511E, AP 6521E, AP 6522E, and AP 6562E). All Express APs feature built-in tools for monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting APs and connected devices. They also include powerful analytics tools that allow users to drill down into any specific AP to view its history for up to 24 hours.
WiNG Express is an extensible, secure, and flexible solution that offers a controller-free architecture where a single access point can control up to 24 additional access points. If the network requires 25 access points or has multiple locations, a WiNG Express Manager can be added to allow for network growth as business needs increase.
WiNG Express is expanding its availability to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It is backed by Zebra Services, which provides support to keep products and solutions operating at peak performance throughout their lifecycle. The WLAN network is designed to help improve channel profitability by simplifying deployment and reducing after-sales service issues.
• The WiNG Express system is a next-generation wireless technology that uses distributed intelligence, increasing the performance and resilience of the wireless network without using bottlenecks or single points of failure.
