This reduces the wiring effort to a few simple steps: the front adapters are easily inserted into the digital or analog I/O cards and connected via pre-made cables to the Varioface connection modules.

These are available as passive components with various connection technologies, including knife-edge switching. Active components with relays and optocouplers switch loads up to 250 V AC/10 A or control closing currents up to 130 A, making them ideal for lamps and capacitive loads.
