Belden Inc. introduces the new LioN-Power Active I/O modules. This new multi-protocol solution meets EtherNet/IP and PROFINET specifications for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and senses input and output data directly on the machine. This provides an excellent all-in-one solution for applications in robotics, machine handling, manufacturing, food and beverage, packaging, and automotive.

The IO-Link Master, with Class A and B ports, provides options for eight IO-Link interfaces and either 16 direct inputs (DI) or eight direct outputs (DO) for greater flexibility and functionality. The compact, optimized M12 L-code power ports simplify factory installation and offer engineers more options for connecting additional Lumberg Automation LioN-Power products.

The new LioN-Power Active I/O modules meet specific application standards, including Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 61010-1 certification for safe application of electrical test and measurement equipment, and IP66 and IP67 ratings for protection against dust and water immersion. The modules can be used with other Belden products, including M12 power cord sets, 7/8" cable sets, and the M8/12 cable set range, along with the mounting adapter.
