With the IoT Gateway, the connection to Proficloud is now established without affecting the automation logic. Through the tailored combination of the Gateway hardware and the cloud platform, sensor and process data are collected, encoded, and transferred to cloud applications for further processing. Existing installations can also use the IoT Gateway to send their status data to Proficloud, enabling the implementation of applications such as Big Data, pattern detection, and condition monitoring. This will continuously improve production efficiency. Cloud IoT Gateway configuration is straightforward via web-based management directly on the Gateway. No additional engineering software is required.
