The router features a VPN client (IPsec, GRE, OpenVPN, L2TP, and PPTP) enabling secure end-to-end connections, port forwarding, a firewall, and an integrated dynDNS client. It also includes a hotspot with local and remote authentication, VRRP, OSPF, and more. Remote reset via SMS is also possible.
The router also features a configurable port that can be set to RS232 via a DB9 connector, or to RS485 (2-wire) or RS422 (4-wire) with adjustable termination impedance. This port can function as a console, TCP server or client, UDP transport, modem emulation, or even a MODBUS TCP gateway.
The router also has an internal GPS capable of sending the device's coordinates via the data connection to a central server (a protocol compatible with other Teltonika locators). We can also view the exact GPS position through the router's own web server.
Finally, the router has two digital inputs (one opto-isolated), one digital output, and a relay connected via a terminal block. The router allows the creation of a series of rules to manage these inputs and outputs, enabling, among other things, the following operations:
• sending an SMS or email upon a level change at a digital input
• activating an output or relay upon a level change at a digital input
• activating an output or relay manually or via a timer
The router comes with a 5dBi WiFi antenna and a 3dBi GSM antenna, UTP Ethernet cable and 200Vac external power supply.
