A graduate in Economics and Business Administration from the Central University of Barcelona, and with over 20 years of experience at the Pirelli/Prysmian Group, Jordi Calvo has held various positions within the Italian multinational, primarily related to Finance and Management Control.
From 2000 to 2004, he served as Finance and IT Director for the Pirelli Group in Paris, and for the last eight years, he has been Head of Planning, Control, and Reporting for the Group's global Executive Management. His career path
spans from Corporate Financial Advisory and Reporting to Country-Level General Management.
Before assuming the General Management of Prysmian Group in Spain, Jordi Calvo had already been a member of the Italian company's Board of Directors in the country since 2004. He had also actively participated in key economic and financial operations for the group's global expansion, including the spin-off of Pirelli Tires and Prysmian Cables and Systems, the Prysmian Group's IPO in 2007, and the global acquisition of the Dutch multinational Draka Holding in 2011.
While Jordi's professional career has always been linked to the world of finance, during this last period he has actively participated in strategic business decisions at the Milan headquarters, giving him an optimal overview to lead the General Management in Spain.
The Prysmian Group in Spain:
Two years after the global acquisition of Draka, the organizational structure has been virtually consolidated.
To consolidate this process, from April 1st, an operational simplification process will be carried out, identifying the company as: Prysmian Spain SA.
This decision is part of a global process of the Prysmian Group in Milan-HQ and has the firm intention of achieving the level of competitiveness and efficiency that the Spanish and international markets demand.
Ad van de Noort assumes the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group
On January 1, 2026, Ad van de Noort officially assumed the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group. Since June 2025, he had been leading sales for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region on an interim basis.
