“In this ever-changing, primarily mobile and cloud-based world, organizations must constantly evaluate how they work, fostering innovation among their employees as well as evolving the business,” said Ron Markezich, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s Enterprise & Partner Group in the U.S. “This year’s CXO NEXT Innovation Award winners embraced this challenge with enthusiasm, using technology to improve operations and better connect with their customers.”.

Anritsu's SkyBridge Tools is a Microsoft Azure cloud-based data manager for 4G fiber, cable, and antenna installations focused on C-RAN and DAS systems, covering three key aspects. First, it offers unprecedented cloud-based data mobility, eliminating the need to move large amounts of data through dedicated data transfer systems. Second, it provides pass/fail/present/absent process and information assessments, such as measurements, photos, and documents, so field personnel know at the time of loading which measurements have passed and how many documents are missing. This allows them to take any necessary corrective action before leaving the installation. Finally, SkyBridge Tools is user-configurable via a web-based or CSV interface, providing the flexibility a task assessment tool needs in today's rapidly evolving environment.

“By providing global network monitoring systems that aggregate data from all network nodes to a common cloud hub, comprehensive data analysis is enabled. This delivers unparalleled insights into network performance and efficiently guides users toward potential optimization opportunities. Microsoft Azure is the trusted platform that enables SkyBridge Tools to help our customers, and Anritsu itself, achieve greater success,” said Gerald Ostheimer, CEO of Anritsu’s Networking and Infrastructure Business Training Unit.

The nominations were submitted by business organizations in Canada and the U.S. to apply Microsoft technology to create transformative and highly effective innovations. A prestigious panel of experts selected this year's winners based on their vision and how their innovation represents an advanced development or implementation of a solution that delivers revolutionary results.
