During the NFV trial, ZTE deployed Management and Orchestration (MANO) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solutions, successfully meeting China Mobile's requirements across a wide range of virtualized IoT network functions, including Network Element (NE) template management, rapid and automated service deployment, virtual machine (VM) migration, fault recovery, and dynamic scale-in and scale-out. ZTE collaborated with several partners, including VMware, Hewlett-Packard, and Red Hat, in a multi-vendor test environment designed to verify the interoperability of different hardware, virtual, and VNF resource layer configurations.

During the test, ZTE's solutions received high marks from China Mobile for their performance, ability to deploy quickly and automatically, as well as their simplicity and ease of use.

ZTE's MANO solutions support flexible orchestration of physical, virtual, VNF, and network services, providing integrated end-to-end management, operation, and maintenance (O&M) of NFV infrastructure (NFVI), virtual infrastructure management (VIM), and VNF layers to help customers shorten service time-to-market and reduce operating expenses. The openness and compatibility of ZTE's NFV technologies also help promote and accelerate commercialization and large-scale deployment by operators.

ZTE maintains a strong commitment to playing a leading role in the development of network virtualization technologies worldwide, forging strategic alliances with other technology providers for verification and testing to accelerate market deployment. To date, ZTE's virtualized core network solutions, including CLOUD UniCore, are deployed in 12 commercial projects and 32 pilot projects globally.
