Advantech has announced the new DS-086, an ultra-slim digital signage player based on the Intel® Core™ Ultra (Meteor Lake) 125H SoC. This next-generation player, featuring the latest Intel® Arc™ graphics, is designed to deliver multimedia playback on 4K and 8K displays. Equipped with a USB 3.0 AV input, RS232 connections for external devices, and a 2.5Gb LAN port, the DS-086 ensures seamless integration with various Content Management Systems (CMS).

The DS-086 features robust USB AV and RS232 interfaces, designed to meet the needs of AI, analytics, and edge processing software. These interfaces effectively support advertising campaigns and the management of massive amounts of customer behavior data.

Thanks to its compatibility with various codecs and formats, along with its slim 22mm profile, the DS-086 is suitable for space-constrained environments such as shops, exhibition halls, and corporate control rooms.

The DS-086 solution, featuring a high-speed 2.5Gb LAN port and a Smart Fan design, ensures stable content transmission. Enjoy seamless viewing of everything from real-time news and weather forecasts to stock quotes on a 4*4K60 TV wall.

The DS-086 is also compatible with Intel©'s OpenVINO™ Toolkit, which enables system integrators to develop interactive or recognition software. This opens up new AI-based possibilities for smart cities and factories.
