Through its cloud-based security service, ATP100 provides multi-layered protection and can remotely recognize billions of threats via Cloud Query. This database contains constantly growing threat information. Continuous analysis is performed using an AI-based algorithm to help organizations identify active threats and stop malware before it can spread.
“Cyberattacks can have a major impact on small businesses, which often lack the resources or infrastructure to defend themselves against threats, or may be limited by low computing power,” explains Gonzalo Echeverria, Country Manager of Zyxel Communications Iberia. “In contrast, Zyxel’s ATP firewall leverages the benefits of cloud-based security to give small businesses the ability to balance coverage and performance without the need for expensive hardware.”
In addition, the firewall features Zyxel's IP Reputation Filter, which automatically filters and blocks most network threats originating from malicious IPs, without requiring individual inspection. This demands fewer system resources, reduces the considerable demands placed on hardware, and saves time for businesses, which no longer need to configure security policies to block specific IPs.
Zyxel ATP100 addresses a wide range of threats, including botnet attacks and the ability to block IP addresses based on threat level. Furthermore, Gold Security Pack customers gain access to a new suite of features to customize their firewall and control the most relevant threats. These include web attacks, exploits, and spam sources. ZyWALL ATP100's features provide comprehensive enterprise protection in a single solution.
The ATP100 joins the Zyxel ZyWALL ATP200, ATP500, and ATP800 firewall family. This new addition offers security protection for small businesses with fewer than 25 employees. IP Reputation Filtering will be available for all ATP firewalls and gateways running firmware ZLD4.35, released in October 2019.
The new Zyxel ZLD4.35 firmware includes two-factor authentication for management, Access Point Controller 3.40, Microsoft Azure integration, and more than 20 security and usability enhancements for all ATP firewalls. This ensures users have access to the latest improvements in protection, functionality, and user experience.
