Plug-in hybrid starter controller
The new variants of Phoenix Contact's Contactron hybrid starter controllers allow for quick and easy integration into common fieldbus systems such as Profibus, Profinet, CANopen, DeviceNet, Modbus, and EtherNet/IP.
New communication techniques over old cables, with high-speed DSL
Old telephone cables can still be reused. Thanks to symmetrical DSL, they can also be used for Ethernet and Profibus without any problems. All you need is the appropriate modem from Phoenix Contact, available from RS Online.
All SHDSL equipment has two DSL ports to quickly, easily and economically put point-to-point connections, path redundancy and online and star structures into service.
Depending on the interface used, transmission speeds of up to 30 Mbps can be achieved. Distances of over 20 km have been covered with lower transmission speeds.
