The cable connection is quick and reliable thanks to IDC insulation displacement termination technology. IDC terminals are designed to accommodate solid and stranded conductors across a wide range of sizes, from AWG27 to AWG22. Cables with outer diameters from 4.5 to 9 mm are securely held in the connector by a newly developed anti-pull thread. This allows users to use this connector with virtually any type of Ethernet cable.
Thanks to its compact design, the industry-standard IP 20 model is also suitable for multi-port RJ45 applications.
In addition to the IP 20 model, the existing IP 65 / 67 PushPull and Han® 3A versions are also available with the new 10G data module.
