A graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Ricardo Hernández has extensive experience in the information security market, with 15 years in the new technologies sector and in-depth knowledge of the Spanish market in this field.
Before joining Check Point, Ricardo Hernández held various positions of responsibility at companies such as Kaspersky Lab, where he held several technical and sales roles for four years, and Symantec, where he led business development for Iberia. Other companies, such as Websense, Trend Micro, and Panda Software, are also part of his extensive experience.
In his new role as Key Account Manager for the Telcos sector at Check Point, Ricardo Hernández's main responsibility will be to manage relationships with the company's major clients in this sector, as well as to monitor and track the progress of large projects.
Ad van de Noort assumes the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group
On January 1, 2026, Ad van de Noort officially assumed the role of CSO EMEA at LAPP Group. Since June 2025, he had been leading sales for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region on an interim basis.
