One-to-one patch panels enable organized, flexible, and easy connections between field wiring and the control cabinet. Standard Ethernet patch cables are used between the patch panel and the control cabinet equipment, such as PLCs, switches, and routers. Field wiring connects to the patch panel via ICD, push-in, screw, or RJ45 connectors and is protected within a covered wiring space. Cable shielding is tool-free and provides strain relief.
The optionally integrated surge protection safeguards devices and the application against sudden high voltages on field data cables.
