Phoenix Contact's Resygate devices translate numerous common communication protocols, such as those used in the water management or energy supply sectors, into modern standardized remote control protocols.

By creating subnets, IP address ranges are used effectively. The following protocols translate into TCP/IP-based communication according to the IEC 60870-5-101 balanced or IEC 60870-5-104 standards:
• IEC 60870-5-101 balanced
• IEC 60870-5-101 unbalanced
• IEC 60870-5-104
• Modbus/RTU
• Modbus/TCP

Users can choose between two types of devices depending on the most suitable solution for their data input needs. The available options are the Resygate 1000 converter, for up to 500 process variables, and the Resygate 3000, with a capacity for up to 4,000. Resygate also offers pre-installed software for configuring all decentralized stations from a single point. This can be done quickly and easily through parameterization, which verifies the configuration on the spot.
