The new 7800R3 series offers 36 400G ports per line card to meet the growing enrollment needs of cloud data centers. The 7280R3 series offers up to 48 400G ports, which can be further divided into 192 100G ports. All R3 series feature a proven VoQ deep buffer architecture, with support for 400G, expanded route scaling, and new telemetry capabilities.

The 7800R3 series is available in 4- and 8-slot modular chassis, with up to 576 ports of 400G or 460Tbps capacity for larger-scale scenarios, with an option of 100G and 400G modules with optional MACsec for secure interconnection between data centers.

The 7500R3 offers enhancements with 400G and 100G line card options while protecting customer investments. New features include Inband Network Telemetry (INT), IPFIX, and Network Address Translation (NAT), along with increased capacity and scalability, and improved energy efficiency.

The 7280R3 is the third generation of fixed systems using the R-series architecture, with three times the performance, double the scale and energy efficiency, and 400G support for environments where space and energy consumption are very important.

● The 7280PR3-48 and 7280PR3-24 feature 48 400G ports in a 2U form factor and 24 400G ports in a 1U form factor.
