During the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg match on April 16 at 9:21 PM (CEST), over 17 terabits per second (Tbit/s) (specifically, 17.09 Tbit/s) of data flowed through the IX for the first time. 17 terabits per second is equivalent to 5.7 million HD videos streamed simultaneously. In an analog world, 17 terabits per second is equivalent to approximately 3.9 billion A4 pages of text—a stack over 420 kilometers high, almost 50 times the height of Mount Everest.

Carbon emissions from mobile network operators^[1] fell by 6% globally between 2019 and 2022, according to the GSMA’s fourth Mobile Net Zero Report, released today at MWC Barcelona.
