Google has signed two partnership agreements with carbon removal companies Recoolit and Cool Effect to support the removal of more than 25,000 tons of "superpollutants" by 2030, according to an article published by DCD.
Superpollutants are defined as any gas that warms the atmosphere more than CO2 per ton. These include methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and fluorinated gases (HFCs and HCFCs).
