Alcatel-Lucent and CanaLink, a consortium owned equally by IT3 and IslaLink, announced at the SubOptic trade fair held in Yokohama, Japan, the signing of a contract valued at several tens of millions of euros to deploy a new 2,000 km long submarine cable that will link Cadiz with Tenerife, Gran Canaria and La Palma.
