Nokia Bell Labs has announced a world record for the highest single-carrier bit rate at 1.52 Terabits per second (Tbit/s) over 80 km of standard single-mode fiber, the equivalent of simultaneously streaming 1.5 million YouTube videos, which is four times the current market state of approximately 400 Gigabits per second.

Getac has been selected by the BMW Group to supply rugged mobile devices and solutions across its global network for a wide range of applications, including R&D, production, warehouse logistics, and workshop diagnostics. This announcement expands an existing technology partnership between the two companies, which has enabled Getac to provide rugged equipment to the BMW Group for vehicle testing and other applications over the past six years.

In December 2015, Leviton acquired Brand-Rex, merging two leading network and cable connectivity companies. In 2018, Brand-Rex adopted Leviton as its trading name, although the legal entity remained Brand-Rex Ltd. Today, Leviton announced that the legal name Brand-Rex Limited has been changed to Leviton Manufacturing UK Limited. Nokia has been selected by Fingrid, Finland's national transmission system operator, to build an IP/MPLS network to support the digital transformation of its national electricity grid. 5G Protocol RF/RRM & DVT compliance toolsets were used to submit New 5G Radio standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) mode test cases to the Global Certification Forum (GCF). As a result, the GCF can enable the certification of 5G NR NSA and SA mobile devices based on standards defined by 3GPP, the global mobile communications standards organization.
